About Borrowhood

Borrowhood is built around a simple idea: the things you rarely use could be exactly what your neighbor needs. Our vision is neighbor-to-neighbor lending: tools, camping equipment, party supplies, and kid gear shared locally, with no money changing hands.

Our mission is to make lending social and local. Porchlight is our physical lending shelf concept: a cabinet on a porch or by the street that makes sharing visible. Our launch offer is a free ten-shelf pilot in one neighborhood. Location and timing are still to be confirmed.

App-based listings, QR borrowing and returns are planned, and are not available yet. The pilot is a chance to learn from real neighbors before taking the idea further.
